It's obvious that I love classic films- they're the whole reason I started blogging. But, lately, I've found myself wishing more and more that I could expand my boundaries more with this blog and discuss modern films as well. (I've been dying to blog about The Hunger Games film adaption). Don't get me wrong, I still love the classics, but I'm planning on making my blog just about films in general. This would probably mean that I'd have to change the blog title and such, which I hope to have done by the weekend.

ReplyDeleteI do that with my blog currently. It's predominantly classic film but I do include contemporary reviews just to keep things going, not to mention on the day when you don't have a classic film you can always write about what's out there now.
ReplyDeleteI often find myself in the mood simply "to shake things up", and I change the background or layout. I'm currently considering a change in the photos at the top of my blog. If you're committed to changing the name, you could work with your current title: why not consider something that relates to "forever classics and future classics". This would hint at films such as "The Hunger Games", which could be a classic in the future.
